vaultspec-rag

vaultspec-rag indexes vaultspec records, source code, and routed documents for search by meaning. It is the search engine the vaultspec workflow is designed around: optional for Core, which falls back to listing and grep without it. It depends on Core, so installing it installs Core too, and it also searches repositories that don’t use the workflow. Its search service needs a supported GPU: NVIDIA with CUDA on Linux or Windows, or Apple silicon on macOS.

vaultspec-rag is in beta. Report issues with the failing command, its error, and the output of vaultspec-rag server doctor --json, vaultspec-rag server status --json, and vaultspec-rag server logs. Redact credentials and private content before posting. Released under the MIT License.
